Entoto Highlands & Cultural Shopping Experience

Start your journey towards Mount Entoto, located at an altitude of around 3,200 meters, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Addis Ababa. Explore Entoto Park, known for its lush eucalyptus forests, fresh mountain air, and scenic walking trails.

Visit the historic Entoto Mariam Church, built by Emperor Menelik II, and explore its small museum featuring royal artifacts and religious relics. Continue to the remains of Menelik II’s Palace to learn about the history of the emperor and the foundation of Addis Ababa.

Enjoy leisure time in the park with optional recreational activities such as zip-lining, rope courses, archery, horse riding, and more (at additional cost). Relax at modern cafés with authentic Ethiopian coffee and local snacks.

Later, descend into the city for a cultural shopping experience at Shiro Meda Market. Discover handwoven Ethiopian textiles like shamma and netela, handmade jewelry, pottery, baskets, wooden crafts, traditional instruments, and authentic Ethiopian coffee and spices.
